All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant for the Edo State House of Assembly, Iziegbeuwa Irene Ojo, has completed a tour of Oredo East, where she met with party leaders and stakeholders across Wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 12 in Oredo Local Government Area.

The engagements, which involved party executives, women groups, and youth representatives, are part of ongoing consultations ahead of the party’s nomination process.

Addressing stakeholders during the meetings, Iziegbeuwa emphasised the need for unity and strong grassroots engagement in building the party.

“Strong representation begins with listening,” she said, adding “These consultations have given me the opportunity to hear directly from our leaders and members on what truly matters to our people.”

She highlighted her track record in community engagement, noting that leadership should be rooted in service and tangible impact.

According to her, “I am already contributing to Oredo’s development, and I believe we can do much more together through purposeful and people-centered representation.”

Party members at the meetings pointed to her Smile@Christmas outreach initiative, as well as her involvement in projects such as street lighting and other community-focused investments, as evidence of her grassroots involvement.

Speaking after completing the tour, Iziegbeuwa expressed appreciation for the support received and reiterated her commitment to inclusive and effective representation.

“This process has strengthened my resolve. I remain committed to representing our people with integrity, responsiveness, and a clear focus on development that impacts everyday lives,” she added.

The conclusion of the Oredo East tour marks an important stage in her broader consultations across the constituency as aspirants continue engagements ahead of the party’s primary elections.
