According to Edo Governor Monday Okpebholo, he discovered a dead bat on his bed the day following the hotly contested September 21 governorship election.
He said that God Almighty had saved him as he was waiting for the poll results.
He exhorted citizens of Edo and other democratic supporters around the world to constantly place their faith solely in the Lord and not in other deities.
Deputy Governor Dennis Idahosa and Okpebholo urged Nigerians and other country friends to constantly cling to God alone, no matter what obstacles they encounter in life, during a worship concert held in conjunction with his inauguration.
Top politicians, prominent clergy, a large number of exceptional gospel artists from throughout Nigeria and beyond, and countless worshippers joined Okpebholo and Idahosa in celebrating at the praise performance.
“I want to thank God,” the governor of Edo remarked. They (the adversaries of democracy) were busy running their operations from Arise during this most recent election, which took place in Edo State on September 21, 2024, while I was thanking God. The producers were occupied with their Facebook business. They were occupied with channels operation.
